Aba (Lily Alphonsis) arrives in New York City with big dreams. But her enthusiasm is cut short when her only living relative in the country turns up in prison. Frantic and without a place to live, Aba rents a room from Rita (Evelyn Rojas) -- a virtual stranger, but one who shares Aba's hope of a better life. Chiko Mendez and Marla Reyes co-star in this soulful urban tale of sisterhood, cultural diversity and the American Dream.
