Renowned Italian conductor Claudio Abbado leads the Lucerne Festival Orchestra in a superb performance of two Debussy compositions -- "La Mer" and the orchestral suite from "Le Martyre de Saint Sébastien"-- in this 2003 concert. A documentary on the celebrated orchestra is also included, featuring footage of classical music luminaries such as Wilhelm Furtwängler, Arturo Toscanini and Herbert von Karajan.
