This award-winning comedy follows the misadventures of neurotic Edina (Jennifer Saunders) and party girl Patsy (Joanna Lumley): lifelong best friends, successful career women and the most self-centered, pleasure-seeking pair ever to pass out in an English nightclub. Eddy's studious daughter, Saffy (Julia Sawalha), tries to keep her mum on the straight and narrow but is always thwarted by Patsy's dubious invitations of drugs, booze and men.
