Officers Jim Reed (Kent McCord) and Pete Malloy (Martin Milner), two of the LAPD's finest cops, take on challenging assignments this season involving a lover's lane stalker, armed robbers, cold-blooded killers, drug dealers, angry citizens and a tough biker gang. Away from the difficult pressures of big-city police work, Reed asks his trusty partner, Malloy, to become the godfather of his newborn child.
