Despite making impeccable grades in high school, 17-year-old Evie Brighton (Lauren Ambrose) sabotages her college admissions interviews at Ivy League schools so she can stay home and protect her mentally handicapped sister (Taylor Roberts) from their overbearing mother (Amy Madigan). But with her deception, Evie sets off a chain of events that leads to the discovery of a long-buried family secret. Christopher Lloyd co-stars.
