ABC's popular 1970s series for teens featured stories about sensitive topics. This four-episode collection includes "It's a Mile from Here to Glory," about an obsessed track star, and "Thank You, Jackie Robinson," in which a white boy befriends an elderly black man. In "Gaucho," a Puerto Rican boy struggles to adapt to life in the United States, and a girl must choose between her birth mother and her adopted parents in "My Other Mother."
