Conductor Daniel Oren leads the San Carlo Opera and Orchestra in this splendid rendition of Verdi's masterpiece tale about forbidden love. Princess Aida of Ethiopia is captured and sold as a slave to Egyptian princess Amneris. Both women love Egyptian king Radames, but he loves only Aida. When Aida's father, King Amonasro, invades Egypt, Aida's loyalties are torn.
