Things are finally looking up for police inspector Vijay Verma (Amitabh Bachchan) when he falls for a pretty dancer (Amrita Singh). But his luck doesn't last long, as a couple of ruthless killers set out to destroy the inspector and everything he lives for. Vijay finds himself in a desperate life-and-death race to save himself from eternal loneliness. Jackie Shroff, Shashi Kapoor, Aditya Pancholi and Meenakshi Sheshadri also star.
