Out of despair, penniless rodeo cowboy Roper (Mark Collie) kidnaps an affluent woman named Goodie (Coley McCabe) and demands ransom. But little does he know that Goodie's husband and his mistress have been planning to get rid of Goodie for some time -- and they refuse to pay. Roper and Goodie find themselves increasingly down on their luck until a romance starts to develop between them, giving them a new lease on life.
