Sent to investigate the planet Darwin IV -- which is about 6.5 light years away -- a pair of artificial-intelligence probes nicknamed "Ike" and "Leo" discovers a richly populated ecosystem that rivals that of Earth. While the story line of this computer-animated documentary may seem fantastical, it's based on the theories of some of the world's top scientists, including Stephen Hawking, J. Craig Venter, Michio Kaku and David Moriarty.
