The classic clash of expectations between different generations of the same family gets a witty examination in this comedy from director Mark Tran, who wrote the screenplay as a 19-year-old San José State University student. Mr. Do (Chi Pham) -- an old-school Catholic Vietnamese father -- believes in raising his family his way. His American-born kids, however, think they should have some say in the matter.
