The incorrigible Archie Bunker (Carroll O'Connor) is back in fine form, still reigning supreme -- or trying to, anyway -- over his household, which includes his wife, Edith (Jean Stapleton); his daughter, Gloria (Sally Struthers); and his son-in-law, Michael (Rob Reiner). This year, Archie and Edith clash over art, religion, counterfeit money and everything else under the sun, while Gloria and Michael smooth out some rough patches.
