New York photojournalist Jimmy Wheeler (Stacy Keach) makes a life-altering mistake when he offers a lift to a small boy while driving through Kentucky on assignment. After returning the boy to his remote rundown house, he discovers a family of children desperate for parents. Jimmy soon realizes he's been drafted as a surrogate dad -- and the consequences for refusing may be deadly. Samantha Eggar, John Savage and Robby Benson star in this backwoods thriller.
