Bobby has a '68 Camaro and a dead-end job. Rose has a young son and a nowhere life. One night, they meet, fall in love and share their dream of leaving the Hollywood's seediness behind for the easy life in Hawaii. But when an innocent prank goes tragically wrong, they end up on the run from the law and for their lives -- and find that paradise is ultimately just out of reach...
