Alvarez Kelly

Debonair Mexican cattle rancher Alvarez Kelly (William Holden) drives his herd near Richmond, Va., planning to sell the beef to the Union Army besieging the Confederates in the city. Trouble is, rebel Col. Tom Rossiter (Richard Widmark) captures Kelly and his cattle before the transaction can take place; seems Gen. Lee's famished soldiers could use a T-bone or two, too!
