America and Lewis Hine

  (1985)
Winner of a Special Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival, this documentary chronicles the life and work of photography pioneer Lewis Hine, whose images of immigrants at Ellis Island, child laborers, mill workers, slum dwellers and tenant farmers captured the human toll of the Industrial Revolution.
