Donny (Dennis Franz), the owner of an inner-city junk shop, holds daily court over an urban teenager (Sean Nelson) and a disheveled has-been (Dustin Hoffman). In a desperate grasp at a better life, Donny concocts a plan to steal rare coins from one of his customers -- but he discovers that too many thieves spoil the heist. Directed by Michael Corrente, this film was adapted for the screen by David Mamet from his own award-winning play.
