Two friends hope to strike it rich in postwar Texas in this Reconstruction-era Western. After fighting heroically in the Civil War, Dan Taylor (Richard Dix) and Paxton Bryce (Preston S. Foster) build a thriving cattle empire with help from Paxton's wife (Francis Gifford). But the overly ambitious Paxton decides there's only room for one king in town, and his self-serving actions wind up costing him dearly. Leo Carillo also stars.
