Divorced and depressed Yvonne (Sylvia Chang) seems doomed to never find happiness, until Mexican-American dentist Jose (Esai Morales) enters her life. But when Yvonne's traditional Chinese family refuses to accept their romance, her chance at true love is jeopardized. Can the couple overcome racial prejudices and cultural boundaries and win her family's approval? Co-written and directed by Frank Lin, this touching comedy also stars Pat Morita.
