Featuring narration by actor Peter Coyote, this installment of the Emmy-winning PBS series chronicles the life of American folk singer and songwriter Woody Guthrie. Interviews with his fans (including Pete Seeger and Bruce Springsteen) combine with archival footage, newly discovered radio recordings and original Guthrie artwork to paint a fascinating portrait of the Depression-era artist who gave voice to Americans' suffering.
