A lust for political power -- and best friends Barbara (Jayne Heitmeyer) and Genevieve (Maryam d'Abo) -- leads overly ambitious District Attorney Sam Brady (Corbin Bernsen) down a perilous path in this taut psychological thriller helmed by Sebastian Shah. But as Brady goes to progressively unscrupulous lengths to advance his career, including an attempt to smear a political adversary's son, he senses that somebody is planning his downfall.
