After surviving a bout of tuberculosis, young Henry (Lambert Wilson) eagerly joins the French army at the height of World War I. But as he gains a reputation as a deadly fighter pilot, the men in his squadron begin to distrust and fear him. Faced with growing levels of jealousy and suspicion from his closest allies, Henry struggles to perform his dangerous combat duties and keep himself out of trouble.
