Angelic Layer

It's Japanese manga as you've never seen it before in this hit anime series. Entranced by a show that features two doll-like toys fighting, 7th-grader Misaki follows Icchan, a strange man in a lab coat and glasses who takes the girl to a toy store and introduces her to those combative dolls -- a phenomenon called Angelic Layer. Misaki meets friends interested in Angelic Layer and soon enters tournaments, becoming a major competitor.
