Angels Over Broadway

Douglas Fairbanks Jr. and Rita Hayworth star in this dark drama about the exploits of four Broadway types, which illustrate Times Square life in 1940. One is a playwright who saves another character, an embezzler, from suicide. A third is a hustler type (Fairbanks) who thinks he can pull one over on the embezzler. Completing the group is the girl (Hayworth) who gets in on the hustle before it's all worked out.
