Aging baseball star Eddie Everett (Patrick Warburton) sees his self-confidence diminish after he screws up during a crucial play. So, Eddie's daughter Laurel (Brittney Irvin) decides it's time for her guardian angel, Bob Bulger (David Alan Grier), to step in and help Eddie turn things around. With Bob using his own pitching experience for guidance, Eddie starts to see his luck change -- in baseball as well as his family life.
