A heavenly plot goes up in smoke when God (Rodney Dangerfield) sends his best angel, George Burns (Frank Gorshin), down to earth to watch over a fumbling musician named Shoomie (Scott Edmund Lane). Now, Shoomie and his best friend, Howie (David Proval), are players in a dangerous game involving sought-after Cuban cigars that attracts a pretty girl (Julie Carmen), an assassin (also played by Gorshin) and Fidel Castro himself.
