Seated before a screen projecting clips of his work, avant-garde filmmaker Kenneth Anger chronicles his life in a lengthy, idiosyncratic monologue, touching on his experiences as a child actor, cinematic wunderkind and pioneering director. Having gained notoriety as a teen for creating the revolutionary short "Fireworks," a homoerotic fantasy, Anger settled in Paris to produce films during the glory days of the cinematheque.
