After his parents die in a plane crash, Prem is raised by his grandfather, who blames himself for ignoring an astrologer's warning. Years later, Prem's plans to wed are put on hold when his grandfather's astrologer doubts the girl's intentions. Prem's fiancée, Pooja, eventually marries another man but becomes a suspect when someone tries to kill her new husband, and Prem must decide whether he believes the fortuneteller or his heart.
