Anmol (Manisha Koirala), the daughter of a wealthy hotel owner, is banished to the lowly rank of kitchen maid after her father dies and her wicked stepmother starts calling the shots in director Ketan Desai's Bollywood twist on the classic fairy tale "Cinderella." In the Prince Charming role is Prem (Rishi Kapoor), a handsome singer who joins the hotel band. Songs by Raam Laxman include "Dil Lagane Ki Na Do Sazaa" and "Batao Tum Kaun Ho."
