The strong-willed Anne Shirley (Megan Follows) leaves behind her beloved Prince Edward Island and heads to New York City with her true love, Gilbert Blythe (Jonathan Crombie), in the third made-for-TV movie based on characters in the books by Lucy Maud Montgomery. But with the onset of World War I, Gilbert goes overseas to fight -- and Anne embarks on a faraway adventure she never anticipated. Cameron Daddo and Schuyler Grant co-star.
