Armed with a pair of camcorders, Shainee Gabel and Kristin Hahn ditch their Hollywood day jobs and set out on the open road in search of the American Dream, a mission that finds them crossing paths with a parade of noteworthy figures. Chronicling every step of their ambitious journey, the two manage to capture candid moments with personalities such as Hunter S. Thompson, Willie Nelson, Chuck D., Michael Stipe, John Waters and Studs Terkel.
