Directed by Jacques Becker and shot on location in France, this Cannes Film Festival Award-winning romantic comedy takes place in the postwar world of the Parisian working class. Hotheaded print shop foreman Antoine (Roger Pigaut) goes crazy over the incessant flirting of his salesclerk wife, Antoinette (Claire Maffei). But when he loses a winning lottery ticket worth a fortune, their marriage may be in even greater trouble.
