In a hospital owned by an idealistic doctor (who's also a philanthropist), cynicism or indifference never prevails, despite the harsh reality of fighting disease on a daily basis. The doctor's son, Akash, is just like his father, equally devoted and duty-bound. But this wonderful balance is upset with the arrival of Soniya Kapoor -- a rich, arrogant woman who thinks she can buy Akash's love.
