When a London-based inventor who's spent his life developing a powerful laser announces his plans to use it for good, his evil-minded assistant makes other plans. Soon enough, the scientist turns up dead, and it's up to Detective Hugh "Bulldog" Drummond (John Howard) to unravel the mystery. But when Scotland Yard tags Drummond as the killer on the run, he'll have to work twice as hard to keep the laser out of the wrong hands.
