Actor Ajay Naidu's familial battles with mental illness (he lost his sister to the disease) inform his directorial debut, which follows Ashes (Naidu), a young man of Indian descent who's struggling to support himself and his disturbed brother in New York's inner city. As Ashes' sibling descends into a delusional world, Ashes falls prey to the promise of easy money afforded by a life of crime. Samrat Chakrabarti and Faran Tahir also star.
