In director Nick Efteriades's coming-of-age tale, a disaffected Greek-American approaching age 30 longs to strike out on his own. Steeped in his family's Old World traditions, Alex (Rick Stear) works in dad's diner while dreaming of joining an archaeological quest for Alexander the Great's lost tomb. But the arrival of a pretty visitor from the old country (Paige Turco) and a pressing family problem take Alex's life in a different direction.
