This Tamil-language version of Mrs. Doubtfire (Chachi 420 is the Hindi version with the same lead actor) finds Kamal Hassan putting on all the female fixings and mannerisms to become "maami" to his daughter in his former wife's household. While staving off the advances of determined older men, he still finds time to set the house's affairs in order. This Bollywood comedy adds a music score by Deva to the popular plot.
