When a young captain (Rajesh Khanna) is dispatched to Delhi to work alongside the minister of defense purchases, he moves in with the man who recommended him for the job (Shafi Inamdar) and promptly falls in love with his daughter (Poonam Dhillon). But when he discovers that his assignment is actually a front for government espionage, he's pulled into a complex tangle of deceit in the struggle to keep his country safe from harm.
