Azhagi

Having never revealed to Dhanalakshmi (Nandita Das) his secret love for her, Shanmugham (Parthiban) leaves his small village to become a veterinarian. Years later, they're reunited under troubling circumstances -- she's a destitute widow, and he's now married. Shanmugham gives Dhanalakshmi a job as a servant in his home so that she and her son won't starve, but living under the same roof proves difficult when romantic feelings are rekindled.
