Italy's renowned baroque ensemble I Barocchisti performs J.S. Bach's arrangement of composer Giovanni Battista Pergolesi's "Stabat Mater" in this concert program. Conductor Diego Fasolis leads the ensemble in a moving rendition of Bach's rearrangement of the piece, with inspiring performances by mezzo-soprano Guillemette Laurens and soprano Nancy Argenta. Also included is a documentary on J.S. Bach.
