Two Miami narcotics cops, Det. Mike Lowrey (Will Smith) and Det. Marcus Burnett (Martin Lawrence) team up again to investigate Cuban drug kingpin Johnny Tapia (Jordi Mollà) and his ties to Florida's influx of the drug ecstasy. Meanwhile, Marcus's sister -- and Mike's lover -- Syd Burnett (Gabrielle Union) has been kidnapped by Tapia, sparking the need for help from the DEA and CIA. Michael Bay directs.
