Bailar Para Vivir
(2003)|
In the spirit of the Buena Vista Social Club, writer-director Cordelia Dvorak profiles a group of 11 Mexican dancers who range in age from 16 to 85, seeking to reveal why they desperately cling to their passions. Described as "a musical portrait in pictures," this moving documentary also captures the grim realities of a poverty-stricken Mexico City, one of the largest and most violent cities in the world.
