Series 2 of the acclaimed BBC comedy finds Father Peter (Stephen Tompkinson) deeply entrenched in the lives of Ballykissangel's quirky inhabitants, providing not only spiritual guidance but also a friendly ear and a shoulder to lean on as each new drama unfolds. Contractor Brian Quigley (Tony Doyle) concocts more illicit money-making schemes, and Peter must resist temptation when he develops feelings for pub owner Assumpta (Dervla Kirwan).
