An eccentric, mentally challenged young farmer named Yojin (Ken'ichi Matsuyama) falls for sweet-natured nursery school teacher Machiko (Kumiko Aso), who's moved from Tokyo to the country hoping to leave behind memories of her boyfriend's death -- and his affair with another woman. Yojin's new feelings of love spur him to try everything to win her over -- and his actions lead to unexpected and magical events in this charming drama from Japan.
