In this suspenseful tale of blackmail, deception and murder, a young woman convinces her boyfriend to accept a bribe to tell a lie that discredits a local politician. When the boyfriend is murdered, she's racked with guilt until she meets the killer -- a dead ringer for the murdered man -- who's now hiding from the police. Will the woman successfully "reinvent" the killer as her dead boyfriend? Gerard Depardieu and Isabelle Adjani co-star.
