When Caroline's (Esther Williams) wedding to Steve (Red Skelton) is interrupted by a woman claiming to be Steve's wife, the furious bride returns to single life as a college swim instructor. Attempting to win her back, Steve enrolls as the school's only male student. Williams gets a chance to show off her aquatic skills in her first major film role in director George Sidney's song-filled romantic comedy. Basil Rathbone co-stars.
