Reuniting under the leadership of a giant warship named Galactica, a caravan of 220 space vehicles sets off in search of a new and peaceful frontier, a place where mankind can safely flourish and grow. After their initial 12-colony space mission is sabotaged and the crew members' home planets are destroyed by the Cylons, the weary travelers set their sights on the distant and unknown 13th colony: Earth.
