Bawarchi means cook in Hindi, and it takes a great one (Rajesh Khanna) to serve up more than ordinary nourishment to the comically dysfunctional Sharma family. Not only a master chef, Bawarchi's also a singer, dancer and poet -- but is he too good to be true? This was one of director Hrishikesh Mukherjee's biggest hits and is still a family favorite among Bollywood movies. Indian superstar Amitabh Bachchan reads the opening credits.
