Living alone on Beartooth Mountain with only his dog to keep him company, a curmudgeonly bachelor (Dub Taylor) tries his best to keep everyone away, including a irritating young trapper (Taylor's real-life son, Buck) who insists on taking furs from his turf. But when one of the worst winters in memory draws them together for sheer survival, settling their grudges could mean the difference between life and death. Judy Nugent co-stars.
