American Otis Madison (Lester Vail) joins the Foreign Legion in an effort to locate his childhood friend John Geste (Ralph Forbes) and bring him home to beautiful Isobel (Loretta Young). But once in Morocco, Madison finds Geste locked up in a Legionnaire's prison. With Madison's aid, Geste must redeem himself by fighting an uprising fueled by a corrupt emir (George Regas). The rousing adventure is a sequel of sorts to the 1927 silent Beau Geste.
